I am immensely proud of my home county. On this page I am posting a few images of Lincolnshire which mean a great deal to me.
This is Cleethorpes pier. In my lifetime it has been a theatre and a nightclub. It is a fantastic building and I would love to see the town revived as a major shopping and gastronomic destination with the pier at its heart.

It is owned and run by Jonathan and Debbie Dacombe. Jonathan is my godfather and his family have been close friends of mine for generations. I know I am biased but it is a fabulous place to eat: the food is excellent and it is right on the sea front.
